Remembrance Day at Sage 13 November 2022

On Sunday 13 November 2022, the Royal British Legion e.V. went to Sage Commonwealth War Graves Cemetry.

About 30 RBL members, including our own Pipes and Drums and Standard, travelled up to Sage in a bus.

Arriving to hold a service to give our thanks and gratitude to the servicemen who gave their lives for us.

We were greeted by representatives from the Bürgermeister of Großenkneten, Deutsche Reservisten Verband, RAF and others.

The sermon was given by Ian Tantum. 

The Pipes and Drums played  a couple of tunes while the Standard Bearers displayed the Standards.

A number of wreaths when then laid to honour and respect our fallen servicemen.

This is our Remembrance Day and we will be back next year.
